DOWNLOAD NOWFor a girl living in Kashmir, 23-year-old Mehvish Mushtaq Hakak developed an app to help Kashmiris find contact details of essential services, just like virtual yellow pages. In the winter of 2013, she did an online course on android application development and ‘Dial Kashmir’ was part of a project she worked on during the course. It took her about two weeks to develop the first version of the app. From there on, there was no looking back. With her family providing her unconditional support, Mehvish created the database for all required services across Kashmir, eventually making the app one of the most useful apps, benefiting the residents of the state. Mehvish plans on adding more sevices and features on the app as she goes along.
